The incredible Murat is dismissed in two lines and Stephanie de la Pagerie
is another one of those incredible women associated with Napoleon.
Cambaceres and Le Brun were originally the other two Consuls with Napoleon
as the First. These gentlemen were given largely honorary positions under
the Empire.
Talleyrand, the great traitor, and Fouche, the other great traitor
are interestingly enough mentioned without great distain. They weren't
yet actively betraying Napoleon and France at the point in time this was
published.
Chamagny and Maret are men of "little talent or information".
Caulincourt is notable for being responsible for the seizing of the Duke
d'Enghein in 1804.
Duroc, notable only for being a favorite of Napoleon, and being dead.
