The wife of General Junot wrote her highly entertaining if not always
reliable Memoirs where she claims to have been present at many historical
events. Given Napoleon's rampant chauvinism her presence seems unlikely.
The last three of these infamous characters were prisoners at the time
of this booklet.
I hope you enjoyed it! Propaganda is always informative. It was the literary
descendants of tomes such as these that formed the basis of much of the
early British histories.
