[For God and Fatherland.] Above is a radiant triangle, on the right of which is the sun, and on the left the moon: on each side of the altar is a pillar, that on the right inscribed with B, and that on the left with J.

Rev. A five-pointed blazing star, in which are the square and compasses, and on either side a branch of myrtle.
Legend, HARMONIA HONOR HUMANITAS REGUNT. [Harmony, Honor and Humanity rule.]
Bronze. Size 18*.
* This and the previous Medal are engraved in Tresor Numismatique, Napoleon, plate 58, figures 10 and 11. Merzdorf, who had in his collection, this Medal, says that there is an error in that engraving - the obverse of CXXII being combined with reverse of CXXIII, and the obverse of CXIII with reverse CXXII, and our description agrees with him. The Lodge, now known as that of Les Trois Hs, or "The Three Hs" was founded January 10, 1793, and is still working, with chapter of Rose Croix and Areopagus attached.

The description above comes from a rare book on Freemason's medals. The author listed the medals size in sixteenths of an inch. So the above was 1 1/8". Marvin CXXII.
The provenance of this medal includes the collection of Prince Victor Napoleon.
