M. Otto Helbing succ. à Münich m'a donné les renseignements suivants: La médaille s'applique à l'ouverture le 18 Octobre 1863 du “Befreiungshalle” au Michelsburg près Kelheim en Bavière, dont la première fût posée le 19 Octobre 1842.
 
Befreiungshalle or "Hall of Liberation" was started in 1842 and completed in time to be ceremonially opened on the 50th anniversary of the battle of Leipzig in 1863.
