NAPOLEON EMPEREUR DES FRANCAIS. (Napoleon, Emperor of the French.) This legend is placed on the left, in two concentrical lines. MARIE-LOUISE SON EPOUSE (Maria Louisa, his Consort.) This legend is placed on the right, also in two concentrical lines. Busts of Napoleon and Maria Louisa, set in two medallions, side by side. Above, and in the middle, the imperial crown, beneath which is the decoration of the Legion of Honour. Below, two enkindled hearts, placed upon a scroll, beneath which is the inscription: MARIE (Mariés) LE 2 AVRIL. (Married the 2nd of April.)

R. Two joined hands and over them the imperial crown. Beneath, in the field:
   CES AUGUSTES ÉPOUX EN COMBLANT TOUS LES VŒUX
   COULERONT DES JOURS PURS SOUS LA GARDE DES DIEUX.
   ET DE LEURS (leur) UNION DE LEUR NOBLE ALLIANCE
   VA RENAITRE A JAMAIS LE BONHEUR DE LA FRANCE.
(These august consorts, crowning all wishes, will spend peaceful days beneath the protection of the gods, and from their union, — from their glorious alliance, the happiness of France will flourish anew and for ever.) Under this inscription a scroll or floweret, and beneath: 1810. Piece with a ring. [40"]

NAPOLEON EMPEREUR DES FRANCAIS placée à gauche, en deux lignes concentriques. MARIE-LOUISE SON EPOUSE placée à droite, également en deux lignes. Bustes encadrés dans deux médallions à côté l'un de l'autre. En haut, la couronne impériale avec la décoration de la Légion-d'Honneur. En bas, deux cœurs enflammés sur un fleuron; au-dessous: MARIE (!) LE 2 AVRIL.	Rev: Deux mains jointes sur lesquelles est posée la couronne impérale.
