| An interesting piece commemorating the centenary of the Battle of Trafalgar where Nelson lost his life shortly after winning the battle. After the battle Boulton produced a medal that looked very similar to this which was ditributed to all of the sailors and marines who participated. While this piece is in white metal the recipiants then received gold for senior officers, silver for lower officers and bronze/copper for other ranks. |
