Arms of the town of Dundee. See Angusshire No. 8. The
crest is incorrectly depicted without a torse, which makes the flowers
appear as though they were part of the contents of the pot shown in
the arms, and the Supporters are shown proper instead of vert. the
two Mottos of Dundee are given "Dei Donum" above, and "Prudentia
et Candore" beneath. |
