Compare the reverse of this piece to the Consular piece from 1800. It is nearly identical. Like that later piece I really don't have a clue what this commemorates. This piece is nearly identical to Hennin 244, the difference being Reich's name on Louis' arm. In fact it's probably another variant unlisted by Hennin as 245 actually has REICH under the bust.
