| Milan mint. Only Milan produced 1 lira pieces in 1814, 275,650 pieces. This is the type 2 lira according to Répertoire des Monnaies Napoléonides, p. 346. |
| This piece suffered from a little too much love in its time. Once mounted as jewelry the remnants of the solder used to hold it in place are evident. It has been polished and has a serious dig in Napoleon's face on the obverse. Despite these drawbacks it's a pleasant enough coin. |
