Médaille en étain, 41 mm. - T. N. 85, 10; M. F. 334, 106 B.

This piece is a later strike, c.1835, a so-called Brasseux strike. It is marked on the edge with the word copie, something Brasseux introduced in order to differentiate it from an original strike. Probably because of this it was about the same time that the French Mint began marking the edges of restrikes with the Mint master's mark. The original on site is here.

Also, the d'Essling lot makes it clear that there were at least two, possibly three varieties of this piece and it seems the spelling errors may have been corrected on those.
