Reverse. AUSPICE BONAPARTE INTER GALLOS GALLORUM NEPOTES CISALPINI ANTIQUUM FOEDUS RENOVANTES GENTEM SUAM LEGIBUS CONDIDERUNT, LUGDUNDI ANNO X. REIP. GAL. "Under the auspices of Bonaparte, the Cisalpines, descendants of the Gauls, renew the ancient Alliance that existed among Gauls, and constitute their nation by laws. Lyons, 10th year of the French Republic."

Medal struck on the same occasion as the preceding by the City of Lyons, and given to each member of the Italian Consulta, as a token of hospitality.

Vern Note: Milan has three examples, all in silver which would indicate to me that this example is probably not one of those given to members but struck for a collector. It is contemporary however.

Cette médaille, frappée par la ville de Lyon, fut distribuée à tous les membres de la CONSULTE ITALIENNE à Lyon, réunie 31 décembre 1801 au 25 janvier 1802.
