Under the radiant cipher of Alexander I, the allegory of Finland seated in front, rests her left arm on a column shaft and leans on a shield stamped with the crowned shield of Finland; a lion standing on a sword and holding a sword.

"She found (her) lost children"; allegory of Religion standing in front, her head surrounded by stars, raises a chalice in his right hand and holds a book inscribed: BIBL.

Vern's Comments:

This is possibly a practise medal, a copy at a later period of the Theodore Tolstoy original. The exergues of both sides don't match the entirety of the description. It's interesting though...
